Review of LLDPE price trend in June: prices rose first and then fell, with the center of gravity moving downward

As of the end of June, the average monthly price of LLDPE was RMB 7437/ton, down 0.66% from the previous month and 14.54% from the previous year. In June, the overall domestic LLDPE market price rose first and then fell. Affected by the geopolitical conflict in the Middle East, crude oil prices rose and fell rapidly, which had a certain impact on the commodity market. The financial market was also affected, fluctuating repeatedly, and the center of gravity of linear futures prices moved up. With the easing of conflicts, the market returned to the downward channel again. As of the end of June, the average monthly price of LLDPE was RMB7437/ton, down 0.66% from the previous month and 14.54% from the previous year.

In June, the center of gravity of domestic LLDPE prices moved downward, the production margin of enterprises narrowed, the demand was off-season, downstream orders were not smooth, and the purchase of raw materials was in urgent need of raw materials, which could not bring obvious support. In July, the support from the crude oil cost side was general, and the subsequent domestic supply pressure was expected to increase, and the price may fall further.
